Wild plant walk
A gentle stroll along the sometimes abundant hedgerows, meadows and woodlands, plants and trees, some familiar, and other less so. Get to know wild vegetables and herbs for both culinary and medicinal uses.
Coastal seashore walk
The seashore boasts some of the finest wild food in the land and the range of different shellfish and seaweeds are highly sought after food. The Spring tides on the Isle of Wight allow us to range far out onto the beach and exposed rocks on a hour identification foraging walk, focusing on shellfish and seaweeds found on our beautiful coastline.
Eat The Beach – Plants and Seafood
After a good foraging session there’s no better way to taste nature harvest than freshly cooked food, either on the beach or in the woods, the rich fresh and sometimes intense flavours can really be appreciated and taste even better when its food that you have foraged. Lunch is made using a few fish caught locally along with all your finds!
